So I had some suprises to start. Everyone mentioned how it came with the european plug and they couldnt use it out of the box. Mine came with a replacement US plug. Take that with a grain of salt, as so many others didnt get one, that it may have been a fluke and you may still need one. I already bought one but can return it now.
Next, this camera comes with a warranty card, since canon wont warranty it, I dont know how amazing the warranty is. But its comforting somewhat, plus I have assurion as well.
The accessories are mostly crap. The extra "lenses" distort pictures terribly. The bag is basically a lunch pale. The tripod seems iffy at best. But all that for well under the price of the Rebel T7 (US Version) from Best Buy, Walmart, or even here on Amazon. And its literally the same exact camera.
The camera itself is great for what it is, which is a budget beginner dslr. If you arent sure if this is the route you want to go. Spend more later on. And honestly better lenses are a better investment anyways.
Overall very happy with my purchase. Good deal, it arrived quick, and 2 of my biggest concerns were solved right out of the box.

This is my first camera but I had done lots of research and tons of people said this was the best beginner camera. I can attest this is definitely the best camera for beginners. It has every setting to help a beginner learn how to use every part of a camera. And on top of this it is extremely cheap, as well as the other lenses you can purchase for it.

The camera stopped functioning during a Mardi Gras celebration. It appeared to be a low battery symptom. After changing the battery with one that had charged for 24 hours the camera still would not function and it still appeared as if the battery was dead or low. I ordered new batteries and when I installed them after charging for 24 hours, the camera still failed to operate.
I removed the SD memory card and plugged it into my computer and erased all pictures and all files on the memory card and then reinserted it into my camera. This seemed to be the cause of my camera’s malfunction. I still don’t know why it failed when I was taking pictures, but since I now know that the SD memory card can cause a malfunction, I take care to bring a spare memory card and battery.
